It is an honor for us to invite you to the meeting of “Embracing Diversity Beyond Borders, Language, Culture, and Art.” A conversation about the importance of language in our society and education. This event is held in honor of Dr. Marie-Lise Gazarian and the conversation revolves around her academic, cultural and human legacy.

This multilingual event will be held in person on October 30 at La Nacional: The Spanish Benevolent Society. The event starting at 7:00PM

The conference focuses on essays related to the Hispanic world, written by Hispanic researchers in all disciplines of the sciences and humanities.

Topics: Art and Science, Health, History, Economy, Migration, Human Rights, Politics, Critical Theory and Media in the Digital Age. Language and languages as a means of social approximation

Given the complexity of the global situation, the academic world has a social responsibility to propose solutions to multifaceted problems of social, economic, scientific and cultural dimensions that can lead to a general crisis. At this time, the crisis has made apparent the urgent need of an interdisciplinary thought to find solutions for the current situation.

For this reason, the Hispano-American Conference intends to be an interdisciplinary meeting with the aim to share experiences with the common goal of promoting a better society.

The papers may be presented in English, Spanish.

"Abrazar la diversidad más allá de las fronteras: lengua, cultura y arte"

La conferencia se centra en ensayos relacionados con el mundo hispano, escritos por investigadores hispanos en todas las disciplinas de las ciencias y las humanidades.

Temas: Arte y Ciencia, Salud, Historia, Economía, Migración, Derechos Humanos, Política, Teoría Crítica y Medios en la Era Digital. Lengua y lenguas como medio de aproximación social

Dada la complejidad de la situación global, el mundo académico tiene la responsabilidad social de proponer soluciones a problemas multifacéticos de dimensiones sociales, económicas, científicas y culturales que pueden conducir a una crisis general. En este momento, la crisis ha puesto de manifiesto la urgente necesidad de un pensamiento interdisciplinario para encontrar soluciones a la situación actual.

Por ello, la Conferencia Hispanoamericana pretende ser un encuentro interdisciplinario con el objetivo de compartir experiencias con el objetivo común de promover una sociedad mejor.

Los trabajos podrán ser presentados en inglés, español.
